Women Empowerment at Raj Uphaar

SRMD Yoga has taken regular free yoga sessions to energise and rejuvenate the underprivileged women of rural India with Raj Uphaar at their very own workplace in the village. Raj Uphaar is a social enterprise that aims to employ, empower and create a new standard of living for women, their families and their communities in South Gujarat, one of the poorest areas in Gujarat, India. This shows how yoga truly transcends language, background, location and brings us all on common ground.
